While families across California’s 48th District grapple with soaring housing costs, stagnant wages, overloaded schools, and a worsening healthcare system, Representative Darrell Issa is hard at work—nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Yes, really.  That happened.

At a time when working people are begging for real solutions—relief from sky-high housing costs, affordable health care, help with student debt or the grocery bill—Issa’s top priority is polishing the image and netherregions of a guy that has not only been convisted of 34 crimes, but is actively tearing our government apart for his personal gain. That’s not just a waste of time. It’s an insult, bordering on treason.

This is the same Darrell Issa who’s voted against capping insulin prices, opposed expanding healthcare, and supported tax cuts for billionaires while the middle class drowns. He’s done next to nothing to address the housing crisis choking Riverside and North San Diego counties. He’s been silent on the student debt burden crushing young people. He offers no answers for aging residents on fixed incomes. But he has plenty of time to bend the knee to a disgrace of a president.

Let’s be clear: nominating Trump for a peace prize isn’t just ridiculous—it’s revealing. It shows where Issa’s loyalty lies. Not with the people who sent him to Congress. Not with the families struggling in his district. Not with the teachers, nurses, veterans, or small business owners who desperately need representation. His loyalty is to Trump. Full stop.

When it’s time to show up for the people, Issa is nowhere to be found. But when Trump wants a headline or a favor? Issa sprints to the mic. That’s not leadership. That’s political cowardice masquerading as loyalty.  Or to put it bluntly, its a pussy move.

If Darrell Issa spent even half as much time fighting for affordable housing, protecting healthcare, or supporting local schools as he does propping up Trump’s ego, his district might actually be in better shape. But that’s not the game he’s playing. His eyes are on the approval of a man who is actively looking to take away your education, your social security, your health care, and destroying the stock market in the process—not the well-being of the people he was elected to serve.

The people of CA-48 deserve better than someone who only exists to wash Trump’s balls while commanding a congressional salary. They deserve someone who shows up, speaks up, and fights like hell for them—not for a cult of personality.
